PRIVATE DETECTIVE AND BJP WORKER INVOLVED IN NCB RAID THAT CHARGED ARYAN KHAN

The ruling government led by NCP questioned the NCB’s raid on the alleged involvement of two individuals who were found to be of suspicious identities. One was a man in a selfie found with Aryan Khan and another found holding hands of Arbaaz Merchant while taking in for questioning. The former has been found to be a private detective, A P Gosavi, and the latter, a BJP worker who goes by the name Manish Banushali.

The BJP worker and ‘self-proclaimed’ private detective are the focal points of this investigation which ruling non-BJP parties in Maharashtra point out regarding the authenticity of the investigation. The detective has been found to be facing a forgery case in Pune. The NCP questioned why NCB allowed two individuals who did not work for them to be involved in the investigation, which was told to be ‘confidential.

In a video footage taken the day after the raid, Bhanushali is seen holding  Merchant’s hand and walking into the NCB office, whereas Gosavi is seen taking a selfie with Aryan Khan inside the NCB office and sharing it online. The man seen holding Aryan Khan’s hand and taking him inside the NCB office is named K P Gosavi. Subsequently, there was a photo released of him with Khan inside the NCB office. NCB officials later claimed that Gosavi was not a NCB official. If he was not an official, what was he doing inside the NCB office with Khan?”, asked Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik.

He also observed that the BJP worker was closely associated with senior members of the party. “The second person who can be seen holding hands of Arbaaz Merchant and taking him into the NCB office is Manish Bhanushali. As per his own social media feed, he holds the BJP Vice President’s post. There are numerous pictures of him with senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as Devendra Fadnavis. The NCB will have to explain why this man was with them during the raid”, he said on Manish Bhanushali’s involvement.

SATIRE DRIVEN, NON-MELODRAMATIC, FOCUSED, AND METICULOUSLY SCRIPTED; THIS MOVIE IS A WINNER THROUGH AND THROUGH!

How can one dislike a film that entertains throughout? In english, this movie title means ‘The engagement is on monday’.  There is no surprise in the plot line; all of it is revealed in the title.  The story is about the making of an engagement and the joys and troubles involved.  Senna Hegde pulls off a regular story with exceptional craft. The highlight of the film is its climax.  The climax offers no pomp and show, no tearful departures, no melodramatic breakdowns, no revolutions, no rebellions, no glamour, not even the promised engagement. This film is a must watch not because it is extraordinary, but because it is very ordinary, and the brilliance is entirely in the balance the filmmaker maintained throughout.

KURUP, THE MOVIE; DULQUER’S ATTEMPT TO CONQUER CINEMASCOPE FILMMAKING LEAVES AUDIENCES EMOTIONLESS

THIS PERIOD MOVIE COMES WITH COMPLETE GRANDEUR; GRAND SETS, STYLE, A GOOD CAST, LEAVES NO STONE UNTURNED IN PRODUCTION, BUT FAILS IN ITS EDITING AND COMPOSITION. DQ DOES NOT BECOME KURUP, KURUP BECOMES DQ.

Dulquer remains Dulquer, we recognize him and his methods in all his movies and he repeats himself once again.  The actor lacks gravitas in his dialogue delivery and intonation.  Can style and glamour make up for lack of method acting in a role like this?  Did we expect more?
